Meet the Cast
christine lakin - PATSY
was born in Dallas, TX and raised outside Atlanta, GA, where at age 7, she became one of the youngest members of the Atlanta Workshop Players. Christine starred in dozens of commercials and made her film debut at age 11 in The Rose and the Jackal with Christopher Reeve. Shortly thereafter, she landed the role of “Al” Lambert on the sit-com Step By Step, which ran for a successful seven seasons. Christine continued to make television appearances on Sons & Daughters, 3rd Rock From the Sun, CSI: Miami, The Loop, Boston Public, Veronica Mars, 7th Heaven, and Rodney.
In 2003 Christine returned to the theatre in the World Premiere musical Sneaux, winning Drama Critic’s Circle and LA Weekly awards. In 2006, Christine played Joanie Cunningham in Garry Marshall’s Happy Days, The Musical and played Casey in The Breakup Notebook: A Lesbian Rock Musical.
In 2004, Christine played Joan of Arc in Reefer Madnesss and won the Audience Award at the Deauville Film Festival and starred In Memory of My Father, which debuted and won the Grand Jury prize at the 2005 CineVegas Film Festival.
In the spring of 2006, Christine filmed the title role in the independent film Patsy. In 2007, Christine stars opposite Lindsay Lohan in Georgia Rule and in the fall can be seen in Disney’s The Game Plan. In 2008, Christine can be seen as the lead in The Hottie and The Nottie, opposite Paris Hilton.
brett golov - LENNY ROSE
was born and raised in Boston, MA. Brett’s television credits include Over the Top and Beverly Hills 90210 and film credits include Amanda and the Alien, as well as Beverly Hills Ninja. “Patsy” marks his first lead role in a movie. Brett recently completed filming a role in “Otis”, a Warner Brother movie starring Daniel Stern, Kevin Pollack and Illeana Douglas.
ryan matthew - SKIP
Ryan has had lead and supporting roles in 12 feature films including Patsy, Black Dawn, No Vacancy, Along for the Ride, Love Happens, True Blue, The Never Ending Story 3, Only The Strong and Children of the Corn 2. He’s guest-starred in over 30 television shows including The Closer, Monk, Las Vegas, Star Trek Voyager, The Pretender, Family Matters, Highway to Heaven and recurring roles on Life Goes On and Freaky Links. He has also appeared in over a dozen plays and musicals.
